Hello and a very good evening from Swim HQ.
I hope you all had a great week and enjoyed this amazing weather
.

With the chaos at Heathrow today it made me reflect about how organizations react to unexpected events, forward planning is always important but when small groups such as ourselves have to deal with events that are completely out of their control first for us was Covid and next was our impending closure. Clubs like us always find a huge network of teachers and parents who support and find solutions to ensure their organization they support can continue and thrive.
Our club has gone through many changes over the years but its core strength are the amazing parents, teachers and committee members who support us thank you.

Support is a very big thing for us, hopefully we able to provide an inclusive, safe and fun environment for every single child who swims with us. We always appreciate any help from parents, last week we received printed Makaton signs so we can improve communication for one of our level 1 swimmers. Being inclusive means enabling individuals to fully participate in all aspects of life and I know how much it is means to us that everyone who swims can take part in all the activities we have at the club.
A culture of respect and understanding for all of those who come to the club is one of our core value and I know this is fully supported throughout the club.
Please can you let us know if you have concerns or your child might require extra help it doesn’t matter if it is something small we are always available to listen, help and adapt.
( Gosh I wasn’t going to write about this but I felt it was important)
For those who have recently joined I apologise for you not receiving your invoice you will have them very shortly
.

time for me to stop writing

have a great evening see you all tomorrow.
